He however reiterated that his office shall be opened for sharing of intelligence in the national interest that could lead to arrest of persons involved in smuggling of prohibited items or trying to evade duty payment which could be injurious to the national economy.

In his soothing message to legitimate traders, he said they should have no reason to worry and should continue their trade in the right path which displayed their patriotism, noting that his led FOU Zone A shall always support in the facilitation of their trade.

Comptroller Oladeji also reiterated his resolve to promoting robust customs community relationship in line with the vision of the Comptroller General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi.

Furthermore, Oladeji in form of appeal called for stakeholders’ maximum cooperation with his officers, as he reassured that the unit would continually discharge her functions in accordance with the Nigeria Customs Service Act (NCSA) 2023.
