The recent promotion of AO Oguntuase to the next rank of Deputy Comptroller of Customs (DC) is seen to many colleagues, friends and well-wishers as a well-deserved one and highly commendable due to his antecedent of commitment and dedication to work duty achieving huge feat in several dispositions he held sway as Officer In Charge (O/C).

Presently serving in Federal Operations Unit Zone ‘A’, as the Deputy Comptroller In Charge of Enforcement, DC Oguntuase has previously served at various departments in same Unit, including Enforcement, Administration, Operations, the Controller Office, all of which he performed creditably to the admiration of all.
He also served at the legal department of the unit where there vibrant performance elicits double promotions few years back.
Deputy Comptroller (DC) AO Ogutuase hails from the Irepodun Local Government Area of Ekiti state.
He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) from the Department of Botany in Ekiti State University (EKSU). He also holds a Master’s Degree (MSc) in Genetics, Plant Biotechnology from the University of Ibadan (UI).
He did his NYSC at Maiduguri, Borno State, and later joined the Nigeria Customs Service in 2011 as ASC II.
His place of first training was Ikeja Training College (ITC), and first posting was to the EI&I.
DC Oguntuase has served in several customs formations and presently the Deputy Comptroller in Charge of Enforcement Unit of FOU Zone ‘A’.
He has as well undergone some local and international courses some on NICIS, Ethics, Anti-corruption, and he is also a member of Int’l Association of Law Enforcement Intelligence Analyst, US based outfit.
