PTML Customs Revenue Hits N31bn in January, as Comptroller Daniyan Decorates Officers

The Ports and Terminal Multi services Limited (PTML) Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has declared a total sum of N31billion as revenue collection recorded so far as at the month of January 24th this year 2025 into the nation’s coffers. 

This disclosure was made by the command’s Customs Area Controller (CAC), Comptroller Tenny Mankini Daniyan, during the decoration ceremony of newly promoted officers of the command.

The elated CAC further noted that the spectacular revenue collection achievement shows a promising start to the New Year 2025, and a reflection of the command’s efforts to expand trade frontiers and improve efficiency.

Meanwhile, the recent promotional exercise of the service saw a total of 54 personnel officers of PTML Customs Command that benefited from the promotion exercise.               

In his remarks during the decoration ceremony held at the command premises which saw to the decoration of most of the promoted officers from the command,

Comptroller Tenny Mankini Daniyan said the decoration ceremony was aimed at recognising their hard work and excellence and was held on the heels of a similar mandate issued in Abuja by the Comptroller General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi which is sought to encourage the promoted officers and inspire others to strive for greatness.

According to him, the promotions were a testament to the command’s commitment to rewarding hard work and dedication while expressing his pride and admiration for the newly promoted officers, urging them to uphold the integrity and excellence that the command is known for.

In his words, “With the command’s sights set on a brighter future, we are confident in the command’s ability to continue delivering excellent results”, he said.                   

Furthermore, Daniyan averred that, as the pilot command for B’Odogwu, PTML is poised to lead the way in innovation and excellence.
