FCT Customs CAC, Olu Emmanuel Adebisi, plays Host to Ooni of Ife …Harps on the CGC’s mandate on collaboration
Comptroller Olu Emmanuel Adebisi, CAC, FCT Command, welcoming the Ooni of Ife to the command
The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Command of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) led by its Customs Area Controller (CAC), Comptroller Olu Emmanuel Adebisi and his management team, had on Monday 16th December, 2024, played a history host to an August visitor, the Ooni of IFE. HRM, OBA, Dr. ADEYEYE ANITAN BABATUNDE OGUNWUSI, OJAJA, II, at the Command Office complex, off Bill Clinton Drive, Airport Road, FCT-Abuja who was on a familiarization visit.

As contained in the press statement made available to the media by the command’s Public Relations Officer, DSC Jude Tavershima Ansha, it was stated that during interaction which formed highpoint of the familiarization visit, the Ooni of Ife, OJAJA, II, expressed gratitude for the warm reception given to him by the Area Controller despite the short notice, as he stated that the aim of his visit was to know how one of their sons is faring, while noting that he is impressed with the level of achievements and contributions the CAC has made to Service.
In his response, the Area Controller expressed his appreciation to the Ooni for the honor given to him by his presence at the Command, while noting that he sees this visit as a morale booster and encouragement to keep working hard for the greater good of the country.

He also stated that other paramount rulers should emulate this act by visiting their sons and daughters to encourage them to continue the good work they are doing for the nation.
Before his departure, the Ooni of Ife gave the Controller, Officers and Men of the Command his Royal and fatherly blessings and also admonished everyone to be diligent in carrying out their statutory duties.
